The table shows the number of international tourist arrivals (in thousands) in various countries in 2009 and 2010, together with the percentage change in these numbers.
The table illustrates the amount of international tourists who arrived in many countries from 2008 to 2010 with the proportion change in numbers.
Overall, the number of French tourists was the highest in 2009 comparing to the lowest that of Hongkong. In 2010, France and Hongkong still remained as the countries with the top and bottom number of tourists respectively. However, the change in percentage of German tourists took the most, while Hongkong took the least.
In 2009, there were 76 thousand tourists traveling to France, following that was USA (66 thousand), Spain and UK were equal with 55 thousand. In Italy, the average tourist number was 44, whereas the amount in Turkey, China and Germany were 32, 22 and 10 respectively. The last was Hongkong with 10 thousand tourists.
In 2010, there were some changes in the given table. Although most countries still remained in their places, the proportion of UK tourists were then higher than that of Spain by 1 thousand. For Italy, this nation has also experienced the fact that its tourists is short of 1 thousand compared to that of Turkey.
About the change in numbers, Germany was the highest with 109%, after it are China and Turkey and respectively. The other countries experienced the percentage of change around 3.6 and 0. Hongkong was the most special with -11% in its change.
