Overall, the number of waste produced of British households was on plastics, glasses, metals, batteries, and organic, while paper remains stable. These figures are predicted to move up gradually, except that glasses and papers relatively unchanged.
It is noticeable that plastic waste had the highest production which started roughly 45kg in 1990 as compared to organic and glasses with fluctuations .Around 2017,organic went up about 40kg,whereas glasses stayed at 32.The amount has been foreseen to rise significantly on plastics of about 68kg in 2030,however,glasses will outraced the organic with an approximation to 50kg and 40 respectively.
Although metals had just above 10 kg in 1990 as opposed to batteries to around 13kg with modest fluctuations on years, and being envisaged that batteries will slightly overlap metals in 2030 to more than and less than 20kg respectively. Paper steady stayed at the bottom of about 12kg waste produced.
