Overall, while European and Asian regions accounted for the highest proportion in the 2006-2010 period, the lowest areas were South America and North America. Besides, although South America experienced some fluctuation in 2007 and 2008, its total sale had no a change between 2006 and 2010.
In 2006, 35% of the total car sales was contributed by Asian, which was higher than that of Europe, at only 25%. Although there were some fluctuations between 2007 and 2008, the total car sale of Europe dramatically peaked in 2010, at precisely 50%, which was higher than that of Asia, at merely 30% at the same time.
Additionally, the number of cars sold in North America accounted for 29%, compared to 11% of South America. In spite of undergoing some decreasing trends in 2007 and 2008, the figure of South America still maintained at 11% in 2010, while that of North America drastically dropped to 9%.
