The chart represents the gender distribution of teachers in six different educational systems in the UK in 2010.

In two of six types of educational settings, females overnumbered males. Female teachers made up a particularly large proportion of the educational systems for children under 10 years old: nursery/preschool and primary school. There were about nine times as many female teachers as male teachers in two above educational settings.

Men and women were more equally demonstrated in three educational systems: secondary school, colledge and private training institue. In colledge, there was a same proportion between men and women (approximately fifty percent). Private training institue and university were two systems in which men outnumbered women. Especially, university showed the double percentage between males and females (roughly seventy percent vs. thirty percent).

Overall, the chart shows that in Uk, female teachers were dominant in most educational settings; however, male teachers had a significant presence in university.
