The chart illustrates the main roots why teenagers use their phones asking in surveys in an African country over the period of four years, starting in 2016.
It is noticeable that there was a change slightly in four various reasons. However, almost teenagers use phones for social networking purposes throughout the time frame.
In 2016, the use of social networks accounted for precisely half, after which it saw a negligible change before ending the period at 56%. Besides, the retail of digital cameras stayed steadily at 15% for one year and then increased gradually with a final growth of 20%.
By contrast, in 2016 the proportion of using phones for calls stood at exact tithe, with a subsequent rise to peak at 13% in 2017 and witnessed a twofold decrease during the given period. Nevertheless, the retail email was the one which had the biggest drop. The number of teenagers who used it fell forever until remained four-fifths in 2019 compared to that in 2016.
