The three pie charts elucidate the precise information regarding consumption of various nutrients by the people of the USA in their edibles that are measured in percentage. The nutrients such as sodium, saturated fats and added sugar are considered.
Overall, the bar graphs highlight that consumption is classified based on their food intakes. It is observed that a large portion of these contents were consumed during dinner and lunch, whereas breakfast was made up of least proportion with all three nutritional factors. However, these levels depicted a few ebbs and flows during snack times.
As the pie charts reveal that in dinner, the levels of sodium, saturated fats and added sugar constitutes about 43%, 37% and 23% respectively. Moreover, these figures witnessed a slight decline for meals in the afternoon with nearly one-third of sodium, and just over a quarter of saturated fats and finally almost one-fifth of added sugar in total. In contrast, in the mornings for breakfast, these noticed an extremely low rate with less than 20% for all the three categories.
Furthermore, with regard to snacks, people consumed a large amount of added sugar which contributed one-half of all, while the saturated fat and sodium rates plunged to 21% and 14% individually.
