The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

Average percentages of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars in typical meals consumed in the USA

The given charts depict the percentage distribution of three nutrients (Sodium, Saturated fat, and added sugar) in four meals of the day in the form of pie diagrams.

Sodium which is a common nutrient recieved through table salt was found to be the highest (43%) in dinner which is 14% less than that found in lunch (29%). The amount of this nutrient was exactly equal to 14% for both snack as well as breakfast meals of the day

Saturated fat on the other hand had somewhat similar distribution in three meals namely breakfast(16%), snack (21%), and lunch (26%). However, the percent of the nutrient in question was higher in dinner as compared to any other meal which was 37 percent.

Last but not the least, added sugar was the most popular nutrient during the snack meal (42%) and was least taken during breakfast which was 16%.

In conclusion, it can be seen that sodium and saturated fat were the nutrients eaten during the dinner whereas added sugar was digested during the snack meal.
