The first chart clearly shows that sodium makes up almost half of the total nutrients in dinner meals at 42%, while lunch contains 29% and14% in both breakfast and lunch. Similarly, in the second chart, most dinner diet is high in saturated fats at 37% and almost a quarter of fat consumed is found in lunch and about a third of saturated fats are consumed in breakfast and snacks collectively.
Lastly, snacks are highly concertrated with added sugar constituting almost half of the total proportion of sugar and almost a third is found in breakfast and lunch combined, while 23%is found in dinner meals.
