Overall, the diet of the USA citizens consists of particularly healthy breakfast. However, they tend to intake the biggest amount of sodium and saturated fat food during the dinner time, whilst sugar-rich products intake is higher throughout the day as a form of snacks.

Firstly, the patterns, regarding sodium and saturated fat use, are both similar. It is noticed that there is a trend on choosing sodium and saturated fat food for dinner more often (43% and 37%, respectively). While snacks and breakfast are the least saturated with these nutrients with the similar average percentage.

Meanwhile, nearly half the average percentage of added sugar was found in daily snacks that the USA respondents eat (42%).
It was almost two times the amount consumed during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
