The bar chart and given line graph demonstrates clearly the information about the managers' and the workers' average salaries also the profits that the company TRN had gained for 3 years, from 2000 to 2003.
As we can see from the bar chart that in the first 2 years, managers' salary was nearly doubled comparing to the workers' wages. In the last year of 20th century, the average wages of managers was around $1,300 while that of staff was only $700. The salary of managers increased gradually to $1,400 in the first year before having grown up dramatically for a year. In the last year, the average still rose sharply up to over $ 1,800 per week. In contrast, the general staffs' incomes had increased slightly and gradually for the whole 3 years and at the end of the survey, employees' incomes stood at nearly $ 800 per week.
In 2000, the money that the company gained was 2 million dollars. After a year, the profits number of the company still in the same level after going up to around 2.5 million and decreasing back to the started level. For the last two years, there was an up-ward trend. the number of profits of TRN grew up remarkably and stood at around 4.5 million dollars in the year of 2003.
Overall, there was an up-ward trend for both salary and profits. However, there was a noticeable gap between the average wages of manager and staffs.
