The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019 Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons

The charts compare the ownership status of different types of electric equipment in a specific region and number of hours people tended to spend in a week for household staffs respectively.

Overall, three types of appliances have been listed- Washing Machine, Refrigerator and Vacuum Cleaner. While the uses of all the items had increased over the time, weekly working hours for domestic households decreased significantly.

Though the ownership percentage of refrigerator was the lowest (5%) at the beginning of 1920, the household percentage of owing the cooler machine had found to be increased in every 20 years. Eventually the ownership had reached to the highest point during 1980 and thereafter remained constant for the next 39 years.On the other hand, despite of holding the highest percentage of ownership during the early years, the ownership of washing machine dropped to the lowest point in 1980 (65%). The ownership of the machine later increased slightly in the following years and stood at 75% at the end of 2019.The growth of ownership percentage for vacuum cleaner was steady until it reached to the pick (100%) in 2000. For the coming years the percentage of household ownership was the same as the ownership percentage of refrigerator.

For the same period, the working hours of housework declined and reached to the lowest at 10 hours per week from its initial 50 weekly hours reflecting the less interest of doing domestic work as the possessions of electronic devices increased for every household.
