The first chart gives information about the proportion of families who have electrical devices such as washing machine, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner while the other chart describes how much time one household spend for houseworks in a specific country from 1920 to 2019.
Overall, usage of all appliances was the highest at the end of the period and lowest in the beginning. Despite of this, total hour of houseworks which are washing clothes, preparing meals and cleaning decreased gradually in the hundred year period.
In the first chart, people almost did not have refrigerator in 1920 but they started to use more and it was become the one of the most using tool in these all three from 1960 to 2019. Similarly, vacuum cleaner was another machine which families used most in the interval of 2000 and 2019 although they owned approximately 30% in 1920. Comprise to them, washing machine had fluctations and close to 40% in the first but it reached to just over 70% at the end.
In the second chart, houseworks were done by people almost 50 hours in a week of 1920 and it was the highest number of the chart while they did slightly over 30 hours after 20 years. Also, the amount of time that people spend declined to almost 10 hours in a week in 2019.
