The provided graphical representations demonstrate the average years of schooling, number of people as technicians and scientists and alloted funds on research and development in developing and developed nations during 1980 and 1990.
It is ostensible from the graph that average years of schooling in the case of developed countries was 2.5 years in 1980 but after 10 years , it was increased by 1 year. As far as industrialised nations were concerned , years of schooling on an average in 1980 was 8.5. Moving toward the second graph , count of scientist and technicians in 1980 in developing countries was roughly 10 per 1000 people and it climbed up 1990 to 15 per 1000 people. On a contrast , the number of scientist and technicians in developed nation in the former year accounted 40 per thousand people but after a decade , it became twice the previous year.
Moving towards the allotted funds , it was seen that 50 billion American dollars were spent research and development in developing countries during 1980 but it was halved in next 10 years . Moving futher,
in developed and industrialised nation during 1980, allocation of funds on research and development purposes was approximately 150 billion dollars. It was interesting to note that it escalated to nearly 350 million dollars which was twice the previous time period.
Overall , industrial countries were really far ahead as compared to developing Nations in every aspect in given time frames.
