The pie graphs illustrate the proportion of one English campus students in being able to speak other languages by the years of 2000 and 2010.
It can be seen clearly that there were 6 types of student groups: no other language, two other languages, and those who had their second language of French, German, Spanish or another language. In addition, students tend to know their mother tongue only generally occupied the highest rates in both charts.
By looking at the first one, it was 30% for monolinguistic students, followed by whom could either speak Spanish of 20%. We had two pairs of factors with equal percentages, which were French and another language (15%); German and two more languages (10%).
Some changes had been made when it turned to the pie chart in 2010. No other language still kept its first rank with slightly increased number of 35%. Meanwhile, there was a drop in ratio of students speaking Spanish as their additional language with just only 10% in this year and simultaneously stayed at the lowest position, along with French and German.
