The charts below show the results of a questionnaire that asked visitors to the Parkway Hotel how they rated the hotel's customer service. The same questionnaire was given to 100 guests in the years 2005 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie charts given compared the responses of customers about the Parkway Hotel’s customer service in 2005 and 2010. Overall, the customer’s satisfaction increased significantly over the 5-year period.

For instance, as the record of the survey in 2005, most of the people rated the hotel’s service as poor (21%) and satisfactory (45%). In the next 5 years, however, its customer service was considered better with considerably increased in the proportion of ‘excellent’ and ‘good’.

Viewing the positive responses first, only 5% of the hotel guests rated the service as ‘excellent’ in 2005, but in 2010 the visitor responded to the service as ‘excellent’ was 23% higher, at 28%. In addition, while about 14% of the visitors give ‘good’ marks for the hotel service in 2005, that number was almost tripled five years later.

In contrast, the proportion of guests rating the service as ‘very poor’ was 15%, had a significant drop from 15% in 2005 to 4% in 2010, which was almost eliminated. Similarly, the percentage of customers described the hotel service as ‘poor’ was only 12% in 2010, which was a slight decrease since 2005. Finally, a dramatic fall in the number of ‘satisfactory’ ratings in 2010 reflected that more and more people giving positive responses in the survey in 2010.
