The charts below figure the using of energy (oil, coal, gas, nuclear power and other renwable sources) in the UK and the USA in 2000 and 2006. Units are measured in percents.
Overall, the highest point on this chart in year 2000 belongs to USA (over 35%) at oil consumption. The highest point of energy consumption in 2006 belongs to the USA, too (40 %) at oil consumption. The lowest point in 2000 is at the ~5 %, it shows the consumption of other renewable sources in the USA. The lowest point in 2006 has practically the equal percentage with other renewable sources.
The most used source of energy in the UK in 2000 is coal, approximately 30%, it is slithly higher than the oil consumption in the same year. The lowest point of energy consumption in UK represent 5% of other renewable sources. The gaz's using is in the middle of the chart (~20%), it is slightly higher than nuclear power's using (~15 %).
Comparing the datas from 2000 and 2006, can be observed that the using of the gaz in the United States considerably increased in 2006 (from 2-% to 37%). The coal consumption, also changed, in 2000 it was 30%, in 2006 it decreased to 12%.
