A glance at the graph reveals the difference between expenditure patterns between the year 1966 and 1996.
Overall, charts are accounted for the increase and decrease during these years. It is evident that the proportion of food dramatically decreased, followed by petrol, furniture, as well as books. However, it is obvious that the percentage of money that spent on cars are considerably rose up in the year 1996 along with restaurants and computers.
On the one hand, in 1966 food made up 44% of all expenses, while computers was the smallest portion. In contrast, in 1996 the per cent of food significantly reduced to 14% and the portion of computers rose up to 10%.
On the other hand, the portion of restaurants had doubled and reached to 14% in 1996, while per cent of petrol and furniture went through a marginal change from 9% and 10%, to an equal proportion. The expense from books reduced by 5% in the late year.
