The given bar charts explain the details regarding what graduates and postgraduates in UK did after completing their studies and before starting a full time work in the year 2008.
Overall, in both categories majority of students opted out for higher studies, while few students remained unemployed throughout the year.
First lets look into the destinations of graduates, nearly 22665 students showed their involvement in further studies and marked the highest compared to remaining groups. Students whose decision to go for a part time work stood at 17735 almost , half of the previous one.Similiar to this nearly 16235 students remain unemployed. Still there was 3500 students ready to involve in voluntary works.
Moving om to the descriptions of postgraduates level, compared to graduates they were lesser in number. And, among them 2725 students started with further educations. Number of students whose indulgement in part time work was comparable to this (2535). Still, 1625 students falling into half of the previous two marked contributions to unemployement. And less than 345 postgraduates went for voluntary work
