Overall, it is crystal clear that with the exception of Europe and North America, agricultural usage was far higher than other counterparts.
Looking at the graphs, in Central Asia more water used for irrigation accounting for 88% in comparison with other areas. This followed by Africa, South East Asia, and South America with 84%, 81%, and 71% respectively. Europe and North America, on the other hand, employed far less water compared with other areas making 32% and 39% of the total respectively.
Regarding industrial usage, Europe ranked first with 53% and followed by North America with 48%. The proportion in South America and South East Asia was nearly 10% and in Africa and Central Asia was insignificant. In Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia approximately 8% used for dwellings. Conversely, other groups used around 15% for this purpose.
