The charts show the percentage of people working in different sectors in Towns A and B in two years 1960 and 2010

The pie charts illustrate data on the differences in the employment rate in three distinct areas, namely manufacturing, sales, and services in two regions, in 1960 and 2010.

Overall, it is clear that the sales industry made the biggest contribution to the employment rate of town A and town B in 1960. Additionally, while manufacturing accounted for the highest figure for town A, sales were favored by the laboring workforce of town B over other sectors in 2010.

More specifically, town B had the biggest percentage of people in the sale production in 1960, with a rate of 70%, which was roughly 30% higher than that of town A. Meanwhile, the figure for the manufacturing industry in town B stayed at 10%, which was three-fold lower than that of town A in 1960.

The highest proportion of employment in town A was manufacturing, with a rate of roughly two-thirds, compared to only a quarter in town B in 2010. Services, however, made up the lowest figures for the entire employment rate, with 16% and 22% for town A and town B respectively in 2010.
