The three pie charts illustrate the school leavers in Australia, what did after finished the secondary education in the years 1980, 1990 and 2000.
Overall, it is apparently seen that the proportion of the young people who chose to continue their studies ahead and the percentage of the school leavers stayed-home without a job, have declined over the period while, the number of employed teenagers has increased in the three years.
In 1980, half of the students were intended to start their tertiary education. However, it has declined to 38% and 37% in 1990 and 2000 respectively. Interestingly, the number of school leavers who were jobless, accounted the lowest in all three years within the range of 8% - 12%.
Noticeably, 40% were employed in 1980 and it has increased by 10% in the next decade and stood at exactly 50%. It has been further risen to 55% in 2000 which was the highest rate in both years of 1990 and 2000.
