The bar charts compare how the generating of electricity, transportation and industrial wastes have polluted the air of China, America, Japan and Australia in the year of 2021. As can be seen from the chart, the overall level of air pollution in China is the highest amongst the four countries while that in Australia is the lowest of all.
The level of air pollution caused by different reasons shows similar tendency in China and Japan, with industry created the highest amount of air pollution while electricity generation causes the lowest one. In particular, the pollution levels in China caused by electricity generation, transport and industry are 59PPM, 70PPM and 80PPM respectively. Similarly, those figures of Japan are 16PPM, 30PPM and over 40PPM respectively.
Finally, transport is the major contribution to the air pollution situation in America with nearly 60PPM, which is almost twice as much as electricity generation and industry. Australia's air pollution levels caused by different categories are almost equal with nearly 20PPM for each.
