The graph illustrates air pollution levels from four countries, namely China, America, Japan and Australia, by various sources (electricity generation, transport and industry) in 2021.

Overall, China causes the highest air pollution whereas Australia produces the least.

To begin with, the industries in China is the highest contributor with 80 PPM followed by transport and electricity having about 70 PPM and around 60 PPM respectively. Japan follows a similar trend to China but in lesser quantities, with industries being in the lead with almost half the amount of the latter, followed by transport which contributes 30PPM. Meanwhile electricity generates a quarter amount of the pollution as compared to China.

In America, the largest source of pollution is transport which accounts to slightly less than 60PPM where as electricity and industries produces almost half of that of transport. Australia generates the least amount of pollution in all three sectors amounting to slightly less than 20PPM.
