The civic centre will be planned to change. There are two maps: one is the existing and the other is the plan for new. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and compare the two maps
The two maps illustrate the current construction of the civic center as well as the plan for renovation in the future. Overall, it can be seen that, according to the plans, the layout will be preserved with few alterations in many locations in this building.
Looking at the first diagram, the civic center is surrounded by 2 streets on both the left and right-hand sides and 2 avenues on the northern and southern sides of the building. On the top, a concert hall stands between the car parks on the west and another car park on the east, and the shopping center is next to this. Located opposite the concert hall on the southern side is the council office at the center, nearly adjoining an exhibition hall situated to the west and a library to the east.
Turning to the planned idea of re-designing the civic center, this building will still encircle by these streets and avenues which was remained before in this essay. The car park in the top-left corner will be demolished and replaced by a theatre. Similarly, the other car parks in the upper right corner will be converted into an area for hotel and restaurant purposes. The concert hall, together with the shopping center, will be on the same territory as today. On the southern side, the library will be removed, and the
exhibition hall will take its place. Besides, the council office will be shifted from the lower middle area to the lower-left corner and relocated to the previous location of the exhibition hall. Finally, the former location of the council will become a larger place that consists of two floors, the basement for a contemporary car park and the first floor for a park.
