Overall, The Greece is facing a serious sovereign debt crisis mostly from The European Union, being the biggest holders of Greek bond. In addition, Germany dominates the European market between all members, showing the largest exposure in the EU.
As talk grows of Greece's bondholders are dominated by the Eurozone with €193 billion almost four times higher than other bond holders which take on second place with €148 billion, while IMF and ECB in the third and fourth places with €32 and €20 respectively, a bank dominates Greek bond holders. In addition, other lenders and Greek banks are the lowest of Greece's bondholders with just under a fifth Euro.
When it comes to European Countries, Germany and France are the largest exposure among EU members with €56,473 and €42,409 accordingly, following with Italy, Spain, and Netherlands. Moreover, the others European countries such as Belgium and Finland become the lowest exposure in EU states market with a minority proportion just under one in ten.
