Describe the line graph

The given line graph illustrates the price index of four categories over the period of three decades by dollars.

Overall all the goods categories show an increase in 2009 comparing to 1979 which started from 60.

According to the line graph, Fresh fruits and vegetables category price index started from 60 and progress with slight increase up to 100 in 1983 where it started decreasing and in between 1983 and 1985 years it rapidly increased up to 110 and continued with slight fluctuations in price and in 2009 it recorded 325. In addition, other consumer-prices index category shows an increase over the three decades and in 2009 it records 210. Moreover, Carbonated drinks and Sugar and sweet categories show similar progression comparing to consumer-price index category from 1979 to 1985 where it shows a slight decrease 1985 and went below the Consumer-price index. However, it continued the progression with slight increase until 2009 and records 150 and 200 respectively.
