The given flow chart illustrates the information about the stages of production of glass containers and how they are recycled. It is clear that three stages in the process of making of glass containers and four steps in recycling of glass required respectively.
It can be seen that the first stage in the production of glass is mixing of sand, soda, limestone and other chemicals has to be done. The second step involves melting in a glass furnace at approximately 1500 degree celcius . After molten glass has been blown onto different sizes and shapes. After all this process, the glass containers become ready.
Moving further, the process pf recycling involves firstly the collection of used glasses. After, collecting these glasses they are sorted out by colour then washing of glasses has been done to remove impurities. Furthermore, the crushing and melting of glasses has been done to mould them into new products.
