The protocol in which leather merchandise are made is fully described in the figure. In order to wrap up into high-end products, leather material must be operated under various strictly processes.
First, after taken off from the animals’ skin, the hide is hung up until dried. The thoroughly dried hide is carried to the factory, where it is undertaken into refining material for producing leather goods. In the factory, principally the hide is wash with liquid consisted of water and lime; afterward it is dipped in a tank with lime. After the first soak, a special mechanic facility do the flattening wet hide for further submerging. The flattened hide is once again submerged in a reservoir with a subtance called tannin which include water and vegetable matter. Following the second soak, the hide is procedured to polishment to conduct leather. Next, the refined material is transported to workshops, tailorings to finalize into leather merchandises we purchase and use daily as shoes, handbags, sport equipments, etcera.
