The given diagram depicts the growing and developing process of salmon.
Overall, there are eight stages in salmon's life cycle, commencing with eggs and continuing until they become fully-grown adult. In addition, salmon has different migration to 3 regions including freshwater, estuary and some rearing areas underneath the ocean.
At the first stage, female salmons choose the best spot underneath a river and lay a massive number of eggs which then be incubated before becoming tiny fish. At this point, the fish have a long tail that distinct from adult ones. In the next stage, the fish grow quickly in size and start moving downstream to the freshwater areas, which are suitable to be reared before migrating to estuary areas where they continue to be reared.
At the following stage in a life cycle, the young fish will become much bigger and begin their journey towards other rearing areas under the ocean where they develop to mature adult salmon. To finish the life cycle, the adult fish then moving upstream to the spawning areas where they mate and create a new generation.
