The depicted pictorial enumerates the difference that has carried out at Queen Mary Hospital since its opening in 1960.
Overall, the Queen Mary Hospital was completely transformed with the establishment of various development infrastructure. However, the Hospital and the Car park was not altered.
To initiate, over the period, the area witnessed dramatic changes alike, the shopping center was split in 1960 which was replaced by a cancer center and pharmacy in 1980. The farmland in 1960 was demolished and developed a Nursing school in 1980. In addition, the hospital and the car park was not changed for over twenty years.
Furthermore, from 1980 to 2000, the Queen Mary Hospital saw spectacular developments. Cancer center was renovated and had extended the area in 2000 by removing the nursery school. Moreover, a new nursery school was built next to the cancer center by demolishing half part of the car park. Surprisingly, pharmacy and hospital, as well as half part of the car park, was not modernized.
