The picture depicts a man-made process of how electrical energy is harnessed from water flow. Overall, there are two reservoirs to gauge gravity power through water flow, and also the process is divided into two approaches in Day and Night.
As far as the day is concerned, the bottom gate of the high-level reservoir is opened to flow the water dam through the power station, then the water momentum moves turbines' baffles to generate electricity. After that, the generated electrical energy is sent to the National grid throughout the power lines.
On the other hand, at night, all procedures are completely reversed. The turbine consumes electricity to pump water from the low-level reservoir to upstream. Subsequently, the electricity is supplied from the national grid throughout the power lines. Finally, it is inferred from all perspectives that all procedures in the day are to generate electricity; however, at the night are to consume electricity.
