Given is the diagram depicting how a hydroelectric power station generates electricity. Perceptibly, this is a linear process with multiple steps, which commences with water from the river enter the dam and ends with electricity is finally created and moved to the national grid.
The process is initiated when water from river influxing to the high-level reservoir to be store. Flowing that, in the daytime, the intake open to the water flow down into the dam to prepare for the next stage. After that, it is poured into a reversible turbines which is used for producing electricity. In the process, the flow of water makes the turbines rotate in order to operate the generator. Electricity is finally produced and sent to the national grid by power lines. During the night time, the amount of water from the low-level reservoir which is stored after the process in the daytime is pumped to the power station to be sent back to the high-level reservoir by the support of reversible turbines and moved through the way which they came before for using in the next time.
