TASK1:

The diagram illustrates the way that a hydroelectric energy station uses to produce electricity.

The ways of generating electricity of this station are divided into two periods : day

phase and night phase.

In charge of day phase, first, once the water which comes from river comes into

high-level reservoir through dam which is opened at day, it continues to flow

down to power station,in which places generator, to generate electricity. Then,

water flow makes the reversible turbines spine around and that also get the

generator operate to supply power to national grid.

In charge of night phase, its way goes against the day phase one.Contained water from

low-level reservoir goes back to the way which water at day goes. Water

at night phase goes through turbines to be pumped into high-water reservoir through the dam. The dam is closed at night

and water which from turbines is pumped into high-level reservoir by the

generator.
