Overall, two main stages are shown on the diagram, which begins with intaking water and ends with spreading energy by national grid.

At the first phase, the plant built a dam that hold the river, works differently between day and night. The barrage allows water to flow downwards turbine placed at lower land during daytime, while in nocturnal time, it is closed and only receive pumped up stream from low-place.

At the second phase, in diurnal time, reversible turbines run to run generator and manufacture voltage. The higher power the water bring along, the more electricity is produced. In the end, throughout power lines, electricity comes to national grid and extended widely. Additionally, low-level reservoir is taken at night to pumped back to the origin.
