The flowchart illustrates the production of electricity from geothermal energy in five different steps, which start with pumping down cold water and finishes with delivery from generator.

The first step of the production process involves pumping cold water 4.5 kilometers below the level of the ground. Then, the cold water reaches the injection well, just before it goes through the hot rocks,which are also called "geothermal zone". After passing from this zone, the temperature of the water increases when it reaches the production well. Subsequently, hot water is pumped up from the well to the condenser and reaches the ground level again.

Once the water has reached the condenser, it is converted into steam form and that travels to the turbine (which is powered by the steam). Next, the turbine rotates and generates mechanical energy which in-turn is used by the generator and turns it into electricity. Finally, the current is passed onto the power grid to deliver to household.

Overall, converting geothermal energy into electricity requires 5 stages with minimal apparatus and is quite easy to perform.
