The diagram illustrates the process of electricity production using geothermal resources. It takes a total of five steps to generate electricity and power an energy plantation.

First, a tank filled with cold water is positioned at the left side of an electricity tower. A pump, which is situated 4.5 km beneath the ground sucks the water from the tank and transfers them to a well, known as the injection well. Then, the cold water will be send towards the geothermal zone, an area full of hot rocks, where the water will be heated. it will then continue to the production well and using the pumping system, the boiling water shall be pumped upwards into the condenser above the ground.

Inside the condenser machine, all liquid will be vaporized and turned into steam. A tube will lead the steam to the turbines and put it into motion. In turn, the movement of the turbine will produce volts of electricity in the generator which then will be used to power an electricity tower.
