The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.
The process diagram illustrates the various steps of making a very common snack called instant noodle.
Overall, the manufacturing process consists of eight steps. It starts from raw flour that is stored in large silos whereas it ends with packaging and labelling of the finished product.
It all begins with transport of raw flour to the huge silos where they are stored until required. When it is finally time to start making noodles, the flour is taken out of storage and added to the mixer along with water and oil. This mixture is then passed through rollers to create sheets of dough. These sheet are passed through a machine that cuts them into long strips which are folded to make noodle discs. These discs are then cooked in oil and dried.
Once dried, the noodles are added to cups. Next, vegetable and spices are added for flavoring. Lastly, the end product is sealed and labelled which is now ready for consumers to purchase.
