By contrast, during the following 10 years, there was significant decrease in the percentage of young vegetarians in the uk, which fell to about 7 percent in 1990. From 1990 to 2000, this percentage fluctuated slightly and reached a lowest of approximately 3 percent. After 2000, it increased gradually from over 5 percent to over 10 percent in 2010. Predictions show that it will remain almost the same till the following ten years.
