The diagram below shows the life cycle of the honey bee.
The diagram illustrates the life cycle of the honey bee. At first glance, it is evident that it consists of a series changes which called as metamorphosis.
To begin with, life begin as an egg which laid in the leaf. Then the baby bee hatches and eats the nectar from the flower. As the baby bee grows, it sheds its skin two times in which it happens in the next 5 days after it hatched, and the second moulting will be occurred in the following 7 days of the first shed time.
As the time goes by, the baby bee emerges in the next 9 days as a young bee. At first, the wings and its body are quite small, nevertheless, they expand their shape into their full size in the next 4 days. Ultimately, the mature honey bee is ready to fly and it will spend its life feeding its life from the flower’s nectar, producing a number of honey, reproducing their next generation every three days and beginning the life cycle once again.
