The picture illustrates the natural way in which a salmon becomes mature from an egg.
Overall, it is obvious that there are five primary steps shown on the flow chart. In addition, a salmon experiences in three distinctive life environments in its life cycle including the river, estuary and ocean.
At the beginning of the process, eggs are produced from the incubation of an adult salmon in the river. Then, after the emergence period, the baby salmon is reared in the fresh water area. At the next stage, a little salmon grow up in the estuary before migration to the next development environment.
The sea is the next environment for the development of a salmon. The sea is the ideal environment which makes a significant contribution to growth and maturation of a salmon. After being a mature fish, salmon continues to migrate to a spawning area in which it creates a plenty of eggs and start a new life cycle.
