The diagram depicts the production of fertilizer using organic waste. Overall, there are five stages to turn waste into compost.
In the beginning, a plastic container with 2 cubic meters is required to prepare for the process. Alongside the container are six vents that allow the air to flow in. The system commences when organic waste is dropped into the container, subsequently forming 3 layers of food, grass and newspaper respectively, with 15 centimeters in height for each layer. After that, nitrogen and hot water are added to the mixture.
At the fourth stage, the mixture is heated continuously over the next 6 months with the mouth of the container is sealed tightly by the use of a cover. Over the course, water vapor is released through the vents. At the end, the organic waste is successfully converted to fertilizer after six months, ultimately being used as organic compost for gardening.
