The diagram below shows the process of using water to produce electricity.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram illustrates how to use water as to generate the electricity while this process of producing hydro-electricity involves natural process like water, as well as man-made equipment.
Overall, the picture shows that there are three main stages of manufacturing hydro-electric power: collecting the water, rotating the turbine, and transforming the electricity before it is flowed to the city buildings.
First of all, the sun energy evaporates some of the water from a sea, so this evaporation affects clouds to form while the rain goes. Afterwards, the water is collected into the reservoir, and it passes through a dam and valve. This movement force a turbine to rotate and creating electricity, before this electricity is transferred by high voltage cables.
Following this, hydro-electric power is received by transformer station in order to consider the electricity is ready enough to fulfil the demand of such power while producing electricity can be produced repeatedly from rotating the turbine and it starts to pump the water before it returns to the reservoir. Eventually, this electric production supplies the hydro-electric power for the city buildings such as schools and hospitals.
