The diagram below shows the steps in the process of manufacturing of yogurt.
The flow chart represents the process of formation of yogurt in different steps.
To begin with, the process starts from heating of milk to 90 degree celcius temperature. After that , temperature is maintained for 10-30 minutes to make it more thicker. In the third step, milk is cooled at 44 degree celcius temperature from 90 degree. The fourth step is addition of live bacteria in it, which is known as yogurt starter. Further-more in fifth step, yogurt is allowed to incubate at 37 degree temperature for four hours.
After fifth step, yogurt is placed in a cool place to stop the incubation. The second last step is addition of fruits, sweetners and flavoring in yogurt to make it more tasty. The last step is packaging, after completing above step, it is ready for filling. After filling in container, these are labeled and therefore finally packaging is completed for shipping. Then the yogurt is shipped.
overall, there are eight steps included and temperature plays a great role in the quality of yogurt.
