The given picture illustrates different stages in the cycle of water from the oceans to the air and to the land.
Overall, there are five stages in the water cycle, from evaporation of sea’s water to the flowing of water back to the oceans again.
In the first stage of this process, water from the oceans start to evaporate, 80% of total water vapour in the air comes from oceans. Then, in a certain height with enough sunlight, water vapour starts to condense, then shape into a cloud formation.
In the next of water cycle, water from clouds precipitates, called rain or sometimes snow. This rain water may take various path (Simon), it can fall into lakes or straightly into ground and return to the oceans via surface runoff, some can be filtered and reach the imperviouse layer. Then, salt water intrusion happens right before groundwater comes back to the sea and comple water cycle. Having completed all these step, the cycle begins again.
