The presented diagram shows different steps of steel rods manufacturing for the furniture industry. As is observed, the process passes through eleven distinct stages, beginning with the raw material and ending up with the production’s inspection before it is used.
First of all, the raw material is prepared which includes iron ore, yellow ore, and carbon. Next, the raw material is transported to the melting slit and heated at a high temperature between 1300 and 1500 degrees celsius. Following this, the melted mass is sent to the smelting cabin to undergo refinement. The candescent metal is then put in the pouring machine and poured into ingots.
In the next stage, the ingots are connected to a cooling reservoir at a temperature range of 60-100” C. Strand's casting is produced after the metal goes through nozzles and is cooled down. The strands are put into rollers and become well-shaped. After that, the products undergo heat treatment in the heating machine. The rods have to experience surface checks with a measuring automaton.
The steel rods are then cut by the cutter to the standard size and get ID stamping. Finally, the productions need to undergo inspection before use.
