The given maps indicate the radical alteration at West Park Secondary School since its establishment in 1950. In general, it changed dramatically as a result of the addition of car parks and sport fields as well as the demolition of houses and farmland.
As it can be obviously observed that there has been a significant shift of this area during the last thirty years. The vanished residential area was replaced with a parking pace and school. This school was increased in size to the left whose science block was attached next to it. The farmland beneath the car park was knocked down and altered with sportfields.
The 2010s- the last period seemed to have little transformation. The structure of the school building remained the same. Moreover, both playground and sport fields were decreased in terms of size. The parking lot took up most of the area at West Park secondary School.
