The given diagram below demonstrates the process in which the fruit is canned.
The general view of process gives detail informations. This process with quite simple machines includes 02 main steps in order of conformity, starting with subjecting fresh fruit to preliminary treatment and ending with canning fruit and providing for customers.
The first step is the fresh fruit collection and subjected to preliminary treatment before canning. First of all, the fruit which conforms to the standards of manufacturer, is chosen and harvested by hand carefully from gardens or farms. The trucks or lorries transport them to the factory where have more machine for the processing industry. After that, the fresh fruit is washed by clean and constant water to remove sand and soil. It’s necessary for next stage. Because then we check quality of fruit by seeing through magnifying glass to weed out low quality fruit such as: over-ripe fruit, fruit crushed,... and retain good quality fruit. After this stage is completely, the chosen fruit is stored with low temperature by a modern refrigeration equipment. They are classified into different types depending on their weigh and size. The following stage is that the fruit which is in the same type, is peeled and sliced to reject peel and corn, by hand or simple machine before canning, the rest of fruit is the main ingradient to produce.
The last step is treating fruit after canning. To begin with, the boxes which are used to can fruit, can be made from different suitable materials examples: glass, iron, bronze, paper... We put into the boxes not only fruit but also other ingradient such as: water, suger, syrup,...and the stage is carried out by automatic machines. Following this, the boxes with full ingradient and exact weigh are sealed. Once sealing boxes have finished, cooking is able to start. Using suitable temperature to cook is very important because it guarantees sterilizing and keeps good smell, specific taste and excellent quality of food. Then, the manufacturer helps customers to discriminate one produce from another by labelling different stickers. In the end, the final productions are kept in a safe, dry and clean warehouse and despatched to consumption place like: markets, supermarkets, shops, stores,... or to customers.
