The diagram shows how tea leaves are processed into five tea types Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The process illustrates the steps to prepare 5 different types of tea from tea leaves.
Overall, although all five types of tea are different, they have the same four basic steps. There is 1 type of tea that only has four basic steps, while the remaining five types of tea all have about six steps.
To begin with, for the first basic step of the tea production process, this step every type of tea also has is growing the leaves. The second step is to pluck the tea leaves and the third step is let the picked tea leaves wilt. The fourth basic step that every type of tea has is the last step in the tea making process is open drying. White tea is the type of tea that has only these four basic steps and is also the type of tea with the fewest steps.
According to the process diagram, the remaining four types of tea all have six steps including four basic steps same as white tea and two more advanced steps. Oolong tea, green tea and large leaf black tea are three types of tea that all have the same advanced step: rolling. However, there is still a difference in that oolong tea has an additional step of steaming before rolling while green tea has an additional step of slight fermentation after rolling. Large leaf black tea and small leaf black tea both have a full fermentation step, but small leaf black tea does not have a rolling step, instead it is crushing.
