the diagram shows the process of applying for a driving license in a state of the us

Given is a flowchart illustrating the process to obtain a driving license in the States. Overall, it is apparent that the shortest way to get one consists of seven steps and the eyesight test is the basic requirement for all candidates, before the written theoretical examination and practical driving examination.

As can be seen, the first thing one needs to do is registering the driving license center to fill out the forms. if the applicants pass the eyesight test in the next step, they can move on to paying some required fees.

Subsequently, applicants sit the written exam and allowed to have two retakes if they perform poorly. candidate, who successfully passes the previous test either on their first, second or third attempt, is eligible to proceed to the next step which is the road exam. However, if one fails the driving examination, they are still granted the license by paying the fee and reattempting both tests.
