The diagram shows proposed changes to Foster Road . Write a 150-word report the proposed changes for a local committee.
Foster Road between SE 84th and 58th Avenue, before and after installaion of wider sidewalks, a new crossing, bicycle and street trees.
Foster Road between SE 84th and 85th Avenue is proposed to change in several points so that not only cars but bicycles and pedestrians find it easy to use the road.
The road currently has 4 car lanes with narrow sidewalks. There are buildings and houses on both sides. Therefore, in a new street plan, they will widen sidewalks placing street trees. Also, bicycle lanes are planned to add. As the results of expanding a space for walkers and bicycle riders, car lanes will be from 4 to 2. Finally, a new crossing will be installed with a spot to stop in the middle of road.
The changes seen above will make it easier and safer for bicycles and pedestrians to use Foster Road. Installation of street trees will improve the view beside it. Instead of them, the number of car lanes will be reduced.
